Pushpa Kamal Dahal elected from Gorkha-2

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been elected a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Gorkha-2.

For his victory, Dahal garnered as many as 26,903 votes. His nearest contender was Kabindra Burlakoti of Rastriya Swatantra Party who got 12,637 votes.
