107-year-old casts his vote in Myagdi
KATHMANDU, Nov 20: A centenarian casted his vote for the elections of members of the House of Representatives and Provincial Assemblies in Myagdi on Sunday.
Jasamani Kami, 107, of Rum of Malika rural municipality-2 exercised his franchise from the local Rastriya Secondary School-based polling center (A), according to polling officer Ishwor Bahadur Bhandari.
Voting is underway at all 120 polling centers in Myagdi, the district in the Gandaki Province. The number of voters in the district is 86,000 and it is sending one representative to the federal parliament followed by two in the PA.
