Voting postponed in two polling stations in Rautahat following gunshots

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: Votings in two of the polling stations in Rautahat district have been postponed following some gunshots during the voting.

The shots were fired at Gujara Municipality and Garuda.

According to the District Police Office, Rautahat, one round of bullets were fired at Kanakpur Secondary School, Gujara-based polling station while two rounds were fired at Garuda-based Amarpatti polling station.

Following the incident, the voting process has been postponed for now.
