Monsoon to remain active throughout Dashain

KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has maintained that the monsoon is likely to remain active throughout Dashain festival.
According to meteorologist Raj Pradananga, the monsoon is unlikely to end anytime soon.
“The monsoon is likely to remain active through this festival season but heavy rainfall is unlikely.”
The Dashain festival is all set to formally begin from Monday. The festival lasts for 10 days.
