80 percent of flight tickets booked for Dashain, Rs 17,000 fare for Dhangadhi

KATHMANDU, Sept 20: So far, as many as 80 percent of flight tickets have been booked for the upcoming Dashain festival.

According to Anil Manandar, spokesperson of Shree Airlines, as many as 80 percent of tickets of the airlines have already been pre-booked.

Likewise, 40 percent of Buddha Air's tickets have also been pre-booked while the percent stood at 70 and 80 for Yeti and Guna Airlines.

With the rise in demand, the airlines have also increased ticket fare. Earlier, the airfare of Kathmandu-Dhangadhi was Rs 7,500 which has now been increased to Rs 17,000.
