COVID-19: 888 new cases, one death, 474 recoveries

KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Nepal recorded 888 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 5,737 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. Of them, 427 PCR tests and 461 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the disease.
Likewise, a person succumbed to COVID-19 on Monday while 474 COVID-19 patients recovered.
There are currently 5,387 active cases of COVID-19 across the country as of Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, as many as 150,064 people received COVID-19 vaccine in the past 24 hours.
