Pokhrel elected President of Nepal Forum of Science Journalists
KATHMANDU, Aug 12: Rajan Pokhrel has been elected as the new president of Nepal Forum of Science Journalists (NFSJ).
The 9th annual general assembly of the forum held in Kathmandu elected Pokhrel to the post. Pokhrel is also the acting editor for the Himalayan Times.
Likewise, Madhu Sudan Guragain, Govinda Pokhrel and Balika Maden have been elected as vice-president, secretary and treasurer of the forum.
Similarly, Indira Aryal, Sonam Lama and Aruna Joshi have been elected as members.
Congratulating the newly elected working committee, president Pokhrel expressed his belief that the organization will witness new heights in the coming days.
Also, a program committee under the leadership of Chatra Karki, founding president of the forum, including Laxman Dangol, Rajendra Khanal, Bhadra Sharma, Mani Dahal, Avyaraj Joshi and Saugat Bolake, was also formed and the committee will operate in joint collaboration with the working committee in field of science and technology in the country.
