Know NC’s candidates for posts of deputy mayors of Hetauda, Thaha, Dhulikhel

KATHMANDU, April 25: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized its candidates for the post of deputy mayors of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City, Dhulikhel Municipality and Taha Municipality.

The party has decided to field the candidacy of Rajesh Baniya for the post of deputy mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolis, according to the chief secretary of NC Bagmati Provincial Office.

Likewise, the party has decided to file candidacy of Bharat Gopali for the post in Thaha Municipality and Nirajan Jangaman in Dhulikhel Municipality.

As per the agreement in the ruling alliance, the post of mayor of Hetauda sub-metropolis has been given to CPN (Unified Socialist), while the post of mayor in Dhulikhel and Thaha Municipalities has been given to CPN (Maoist Center).
