Resurrection of Tri-Chandra College will be my top priority: UML’s candidate for KMC’s mayor Sthapit
KATHMANDU, April 24: Resigning from his post, member of Bagmati Provincial Assembly, Keshav Sthapit who is now being fielded as candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, maintained that his first and foremost priority will be resurrection of the Tri-Chandra College.
Besides, Sthapit also maintained that he will introduce special plans to reform the educational sector.
Sthapit vowed to develop Tri-Chandra College with international standard facilities. “Gradually, other educational institutions will also be reformed and modernized,” he added.
To file his candidacy for the post of mayor of the Kathmandu metropolis, Sthapit submitted his resignation letter to Speaker of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly, Sanu Kumar Shrestha.
