Five names recommended from NC for candidacy for post of Kathmandu’s mayor

KATHMANDU, April 20: Five names Srijana Singh – wife of Prakash Man Singh – have been recommended for the candidacy for the post of the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

A meeting of the Kathmandu metropolis committee recommended five names for mayor and two for deputy mayor.

Here is the name list for the post of Mayor:

1. Lil Kaji Shakya

2. Srijana Singh

3. Hari Prava Khadki

4. Susan Baidya

5. Pragatiman Ranjit

Here is the name list for the post of deputy mayor: 

1. Sushil Dhakal

2. Amita Pradan Shakya

Dhakal and Shakya represent CPN (Unified Socialist).
