Nepal reports 2,444 new corona cases on Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: As many as 2,444 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease on Tuesday.

The new cases were detected through 15,033 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, according to the health ministry. 

With this, the number of active cases in the country has jumped to 9,522. 

The ministry reported 1,446 new infections on Monday.
