CJ Parajuli commits to prompt justice delivery

 

 

Kathmandu,  Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli has committed to delivering justice easily. While inaugurating 27th establishment day of the Judicial Council here in the capital today he said that he was working out by preparing a plan for the prompt and easy justice delivery. He further urged the Nepal Bar Association and other concerned bodies to cooperate the judiciary to protect its independent image. 
CJ Parajuli further committed to working as per the constitutional provision to make the judicial administration effective. He further urged the council members to considerer the capability, professionalism, honesty among other qualities while appointing, transferring and promoting the justices. 
Similarly, speaking in the programme, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Yagya Bahadur Thapa said that the public should get easy and prompt justice from the courts. He shared that the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has decided to appoint judges to district courts through open competition for the first time which was quite good. 
Nepal Bar Association chair Sher Bahadur KC urged the council to work being free and impartial.
