Bagmati govt hikes public transportation fares by 23 percent

KATHMANDU: Bagmati Province Government has adjusted the public transportation fares. With this, the fares of public transport being operated in the province have been hiked by 23 percent. New rates will come into force starting October 18. 

Earlier, the federal government had adjusted the fares of long-haul (those operating inter-province services) by 28 percent effective from July 13.
