Local leaders submit memo to PM seeking budget for Khotang development

KHOTANG, August 27: Leaders and cadres of Nepali Congress (NC) from Khotang district have submitted a memo to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba seeking budget for development projects here. 

NC Mahasamiti Member Rabi Prakash Rai-led delegation met with PM Deuba on Thursday and sought budget allocation for road, irrigation and other projects.  

The delegation team requested the PM to allocate budget for Patheka-Tapkhola road, Diktel-Chakhewa road, Patheka-Phedi road, Yeselukharka-Solukhumbu road and Simedada-Buyipa road.

Rai said that request has been made seeking budget for indigenous nationalities museum at Diplung, Bhanumati temple and tourism development including many other projects in the district.
