Materials used to explode IED confiscated

Surunga, Jhapa,  The police on Thursday evening seized materials used to trigger improvised explosive device from the house of a cadre of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN-Maoist in Buddhashanti rural municipality-2 in Jhapa. The police acting on a tip off raided the house of Khom Prasad Lakandri, Mechi zone bureau member of the CPN-Maoist, and confiscated materials that include four detonators, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Jitendra Bahadur Basnet, adding that nine cadres of the CPN-Maoist including Lakandri have already been arrested.
