UML's election programmes postpones for an hour over demise of Dahal
Kathmandu- The CPN (UML) has extended profound sorrow over the demise of Prakash Dahal, son of former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal today.
Issuing a press release, UML central election mobilization committee spokesperson Bishnu Rimal has stated that the party postponed all election campaigns for an hour across the country in sorrow over the demise of Dahal.
The election programmes were postponed from 2:00 to 3:00 this afternoon. The release further states that the party leaders Jhalnath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bamdev Gautam, Ishwar Pokharel among other senior leaders had reached Norvic International Hospital, Thapathali to extend condolences to the bereaved Dahal family soon after the incident became public.
