Congress, Maoist and JSP file no-confidence motion against Lumbini CM Pokharel, Maoist’s KC proposed as new CM

 

BUTWAL, April 19: Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center) and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) have filed a no-confidence motion against Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Shankar Pokharel.
 
As many as 41 lawmakers signed in the motion registered at the Parliament Secretariat on Monday, according to Fakharudin Khan, Chief Whip of NC in the province. “Maoist lawmaker Kul Prasad KC has been proposed as the new CM,” he added.

CM Pokharel requires 43 votes to survive the motion in the assembly with 87 members.
