Fire destroys properties worth over Rs 10 million in Kailali

Properties worth over Rs 10 million have been gutted by fire in the KS Construction at Geta Gaun of Godawari Rural Municipality-5 in Kailali district today morning. 

According to the District Police Office Spokesperson Prateek Bista, the fire that is suspected to have broken out due to electricity leakages in the KS Construction burned down all tyre, tubes and mobile among others materials used in vehicles incurring the loss of that amount. 

The fire that flared up for nearly an hour was doused in a coordinated effort of the fire brigade from the Dhangadi Sub-Metropolitan Office and Godawari Municipality, security personnel and locals, informed Bista.

KS Construction was run by Khadak Singh Pal, a local. Earlier, in a fire incident at a furniture shop at Chatakpur in Dhangadi, properties worth Rs 10 million had reduced to ashes.
