PM Oli extends condolences on demise of NCP leader Lama
Kathmandu - Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) KP Sharma Oli, has extended condolences on the demise of NCP central member and former ambassador to South Korea, Kaman Singh Lama. Issuing a message of condolences today, PM Oli remembered late Lama's contribution in political and cultural changes during party-less Panchayat regime.
Chair Oli further mentioned that late Lama, as a member of House of Representatives had worked for people's agenda after the restoration of democracy in the country. He was elected HoR member in 2048 BS general election from Kavrepalanchok district. Chairman Oli has also extended condolences to the bereaved family members of late Lama. Lama who was infected with COVID-19 died in course of treatment in Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj this morning.
