Dr. Iwamura Memorial Hospital announces 'Hariyo Chura' special package to women

Kathmandu - The Dr. Iwamura Memorial Hospital at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur has unveiled the "Hariyo Chura (Green Bangles)" special package targeting women on the occasion of the Teej festival. Teej is a festival observed specially by the Hindu women. The special Teej package consists of free and 50 per cent discount to women on obstetric services by specialists.

Hospital's director Jeevan Marikhu said this package has been brought targeting medical treatment of women. Women participating in the gynaeo camp run by the hospital will get free health check-up services by gynaecology specialists for 365 days while the remaining women will get 50 per cent discount in check-up and video X-ray and 10 per cent discount in other services.

Hospital's gynaecology specialist Dr Shova Marikhu said these services would be operated until August 26 on the occasion of the Teej festival. Two hundred women have participated in this service. Director Marikhu said the hospital has the goal of involving 100 women in the Hariyo Chura package.
