72 persons test positive for COVID-19 today alone
Kathmandu - As many as 72 persons have tested positive for coronavirus today alone. According to the Health and Population Ministry, the people testing positive for coronavirus however are from different districts including Kapilvastu, Kathmandu, Bara, Rautahat, Saptari, Bardiya and Dailekh. COVID-19 was confirmed among three individuals from Dhanusha, three from Kapilvastu, 26 from Rautahat, two from Saptari, one from Bardiya, four from Banke, 23 from Bara and seven from Dailekh. With this, the number of coronavirus infected people has reached 675 in the country, said Assistant-Spokesperson at the Health Ministry, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari.
Three persons from ward no 3 in Nagaraikan municipality of Dhanusha, three persons from Shivaraj municipality of Kapilvastu, three persons including two from Tokha municipality and a person from Budhanilkantha municipality of Kathmandu, two people from Kalaiya municipality of Bara, 21 people from Gadhimai rural municipality of Bara tested positive for coronavirus today.
He added coronavirus was confirmed among 26 people in Rajpur Pharahadawa of Rautahat, two person in Daknedhari rural municipality of Saptari, one person in Bansgadhi municipality of Bardiya, four persons including two each in Duduwa rural municipality and Raptisonari rural municipality and three in Dailekh, including a woman in Narayan municipality and two in Gurans rural municipality.
