Dhangadhi–Sudur Paschim State Government has announced a public holiday in the province on December 26 on the occasion of the Bhuwa Parba festival.
The State Government's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law issued a notice today stating that a public holiday has been given throughout the State on December 26, Thursday, as per the decision of the State Government.
The Bhuwa Parba is celebrated with fervor and gaiety especially in Achham, Bajura, Bajhang among other districts of the State. Dozer torched A dozer parked on the bank of the Rora River at Lamki Chuha Municipality in Kailali district was torched last night.
The dozer (Se 3 Ka 3421) belonged to Deuti Construction Services, the Area Police Office Lamki stated. Police said a leaflet bearing the name Communist Party Nepal that was found at the site reads: the natural resources were being exploited without caring for the environmental consequences.
