Dhading–A man has died in a road accident that took place on the Tribhuvan Highway in ward no. 8 of Thakre rural municipality last night.
The deceased has been identified as Balram Tamang,28, a resident of ward no. 6 in the same municipality, police said.
According to DSP Rupak Khadka at the District Police Office, a good carrier (Ba.17 Cha. 536) heading towards Naubise from Tasarpur fell into the stream below the road. Driver Tamang and his assistant were rescued by locals and rushed to the hospital.
However, Tamang died during treatment. Seriously injured helper of the driver has been rushed to Kathmandu for further treatment.
