Muglin–Two people were killed and another injured in a truck accident in Chitwan today morning. A brick-laden truck (registration number Na 7 Kha 6765) fell into the Trishuli river from the Prithvi highway near Chumlingtar, Ichhakamana-3 at 5.45 am today, leaving two people dead and injuring one.
The truck was on its way towards Kathmandu from Muglin. Police said the injured person has been rescued and sent to Bharatpur for treatment.
The identity of the injured and the two persons killed in the accident is not known, the Area Police Office, Muglin said. Rescuers are trying to retrieve the bodies, it is stated.
