Syangja Jeep Accident: Death toll hits 14

KATHMANDU, May 13: Number of people dying in the Syangja Jeep Accident has reached 14.
The ill-fated Jeep (GA 2 CHA 3026) enroute to Waling Municipality from Sikre plunged 500 meters down the road at around 10:30 this morning killing 14 people. All the people in the Jeep were voters of the local level poll.
The deceased have been identified as Maya Pun, Pravin Kuwar, Kuldeep Kuwar, Dema Kumari Kuwar, Hari Kala Kuwar, Tanka Lal Kuwar, Jamuna Kuwar, Bhim Kala Kuwar, Muwa Kuwar, Mina Kuwar, Kipful Devi Kuwar, Kort Kumari Kuwar, Gyandali Kuwar and Janu Kuwar of Waling Municipality-14.
Besides, 11 others have sustained severe injuries.
