One arrested in Mahottari for killing in-law

Mahottari: Police has arrested 46-year-old Ramjatan Yadav, resident of Aurahi Municipality-4, on the charge of murdering his own sister-in-law, 50-year-old Rita Devi Yadav.

Rita Devi, who was seriously injured when Ramjatan hit her with a spade during a domestic dispute, died during treatment at Janaki Academic Hospital at Parsa in Mahottari district.

As soon as this news was received, the police personnel stationed at temporary police post Kathudhar and Area Police Office Gaushala arrested him. The police are conducting further investigations in this regard.
