Flood Forecasting Division issues an alert, asks citizens to remain cautious

Kathmandu: Four parts of the nation witnessed downpour on Wednesday.

Heavy rains have been reported in Palpa, Chitwan, Jhapa, and Kaski, according to the Department of Water and Meteorology's Flood Forecasting Division.

126.8 mm of rain fell in the last 12 hours, according to the division's new information at 3:30 on Wednesday, based on recordings made at Palpa's Baldyangdi Station.

According to the records, in the last twelve hours 160.6 mm of rain occurred in Kalyanpur station.

Similarly, 155.8 mm in Govinda Basti station and 124 mm in Charchare station was recorded in Chitwan district.

In a same vein, Lamapatan in Kaski has received 67.4 mm of rain, while Kechana in Jhapa has received 126.4 mm of rain.

The division has asked to issue a warning  in order to take preventative measures.
