Lightning claims two lives in Kapilvastu

Butwal: Two individuals died from lightning in Kapilvastu district today.
Lightning claimed the lives of 18-year-old Raju Thakur of Buddhabhumi Municipality Ward No. 10 and 22-year-old Mahesh Kalwar of Yashodhara Rural Municipality Ward No. 8.
They were both headed to the field near their house on Wednesday morning when they were struck by lightning.
Both of them were struck by lightning, and Kapilvastu Police Superintendent Nabaratna Paudel reported that they both passed away instantly.
