Kathmandu. The CPN-Maoist Center has decided that Prime Minister Prachanda will not resign. An emergency meeting of Maoist officials held at the Prime Minister's residence Baluwatar on Tuesday decided to face the vote of confidence without resigning.
After the meeting, Secretary Devendra Paudel said, "There is no such thing as the Prime Minister accepting and resigning." According to the constitution, it has been decided to face a vote of confidence from the parliament.'
He said that since the parties that have supported the government have not withdrawn their support, he have not thought about when to take the vote of confidence. The Maoists also conclude that there will be no national consensus from the agreement reached by the two parties at midnight.
Accusing Congress and UML of trying to go towards the 047 system, Paudel said that it was decided to discuss the matter with various political parties.
