Actor Bhuwan KC to file his candidacy for post of mayor of Kathmandu metropolis

KATHMANDU, April 6: Unnat Loktantrik Party has decided to field actor Bhuwan KC as its candidate for the post of mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the upcoming local level polls.

According to Swagat Nepal, Chairman of the party, the central committee meeting held on Tuesday decided to field KC as a candidate for mayor and Reshma Lama as deputy mayor.

“KC is expected to take effective actions to minimize urban poverty, address issues of those living in rented rooms and minimize domestic violence,'' said Nepal.
