Nepali Congress calls parliamentary party meeting
Kathmandu, September 30 — The major ruling party, the Nepali Congress, has called a meeting of its parliamentary party.
According to MP Ramhari Khatiwada, who is also the chair of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 2 PM. It will be held in the Lhotse Hall of the Federal Parliament in Baneshwar.
The meeting is expected to discuss issues such as the disasters caused by floods and landslides, the public’s suffering, and the proposal for MPs to contribute 15 days' salary to the government's relief fund.
"The meeting has been called to discuss current issues," Khatiwada stated.
