Task force formed to assess damage from monsoon disasters

Kathmandu, September 30 — The National Disaster Risk Reduction Executive Committee has decided to form a task force to collect details of damages caused by monsoon-related disasters.

According to Rishiram Tiwari, spokesperson (Joint Secretary) of the Home Ministry, the task force will gather damage details within 15 days.

A meeting led by Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has decided that the relevant ministry will proceed with the reconstruction of damaged structures.
