SC’s full court today, discuss court reformation

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (SC), Deepak Kumar Karki, has summoned a full court at 2 PM on Friday.

Prior to this, the justices at the SC held an informal discussion on Monday. Amid the discussion, the decision was taken to hold full court today.

According to Devendra Dhakal, information officer at the SC, the main agenda of the full court is implementation of the report of Justice Hari Krishna Karki for reform of the apex court.

Following a registration of an impeachment motion against CJ Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, Justice Karki was appointed the acting CJ for the apex court.

It has been learnt that acting CJ Karki will also prepare to hold meetings of the Judicial Service Commission and Judicial Council.
