COVID-19 vaccination card missing? Here is what you can do

The government has made COVID-19 vaccination card mandatory in public places from Jan 21.

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The government has made the COVID-19 vaccination card mandatory in public places from January 21. 

One needs to show the vaccination card to receive services from government offices and hotels and restaurants among other public places.

Besides, the vaccination card is mandatory to receive booster doses of COVID-19 as well, which is currently being administered by the government. 

But if anyone who had earlier received COVID-19 shots and his/her vaccination card is missing then he/she has to follow the following procedures maintained by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

1) Those receiving both shots of the vaccine can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,

2) For those receiving the J and J  vaccine, one can visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier,

3) Those receiving only the first dose of the vaccine can also visit the municipality or rural municipality office where lies the vaccination centre from where they received their vaccine earlier
