Ex-RAW agent claims Oli government will collapse within a month

Kathmandu, December 15 — Former Indian intelligence agency (RAW) agent Laxman Singh Bista (Lucky Bista) has claimed that the current government under Prime Minister KP Oli will collapse within a month.

In an interview with the Indian media outlet Navbharat Times, he stated that the Oli government would fall within 15 days to one month. He also claimed that agencies are working towards this outcome, as he revealed in an interview published on YouTube.

"You'll be surprised, and you'll hear another news in a few days: the Nepalese government is about to fall," he claimed during the interview. However, he was unable to provide concrete evidence for his assertion.

While working with RAW, Bista mentioned that he had worked in several countries and successfully completed many missions in Nepal as well. He added, however, that no other country was as difficult to work in as Nepal. He also described Nepal as a "dangerous place" and claimed that it is a playing ground for intelligence agencies from around the world.

In previous interviews, Bista had also stated that he had worked to stop the circulation of fake Indian currency notes in Nepal and had helped arrest major criminal syndicates.
