NC new CWC meeting tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Dec 24: A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) Central Working Committee elected by the party's 14th General Convention has been scheduled for Saturday at the party central office, Sanepa.

According to party office secretary Keshab Rijal, a certificate distribution program to the newly elected office bearers and central members has been scheduled to start from 11:00 am and the meeting will commence once the certificate distribution gets over.  

It may be noted that the NC national gathering (December 10-14) held in Kathmandu elected 134 office-bearers and the central members. As per the party’s revised statute, the party Central President shall nominate 33 members.   The 13th General Convention had elected the 85-member Central Committee. 

Party President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to thank all the elected people, welcome them and make a decision of renewing the party registration in the Election Commission.
