Two parliamentary committee meetings scheduled today

Kathmandu, September 30 — Two parliamentary committee meetings are scheduled for today. The Parliamentary Hearing Committee will meet at 1 PM.

During the meeting, the committee will review and discuss complaints and information related to Nepal’s Chief Justice and proposed ambassadors.

They will distribute the work plans submitted by the Chief Justice and proposed ambassadors to the committee members, prepare an agenda according to Article 15 of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee Procedure, 2080, to advance the hearing process, and commence the hearings for the proposed judges of the Supreme Court.

Additionally, the Committee for Legislation Management will meet at 3 PM. The meeting will focus on clause-by-clause discussions of the Media Council Bill, 2081.
