Kathmandu - The Kathmandu Jaycees is presenting the 15th Enchanter Miss Teen 2017 next month here in the Capital.
At a press conference held on Monday evening, Kathmandu Jaycees said it is holding the beauty pageant at the Nepal Academy from September 21.
Jaycees Chairman, Deepak Bhandari, said the annual pageant is being held this year as in the past years between girls in the age group of 16 to 19 so as to allow them to showcase their talents.
"In 1994 Kathmandu Jaycees organized the Miss Nepal beauty pageant, but since 2002 it has been holding the Miss Teen pageant," Bhandari shared.
Jaycees' Joint Secretary, Kailash Shrestha, said 30 girls were selected from among hundreds for the pageant. The selected girls will undergo training from today.
Thousands of teenage girls have taken part in the successive pageants held with an aim to stir up their talents and develop leadership qualities in them.
