Arrest warrant issued for singer Rabi Oad amid marital rape allegations

KATHMANDU: Singer Rabi Oad, renowned for his success as a Nepalese singer, actor, and dancer following his victory in the second season of Nepal Idol, is facing an arrest warrant.

The warrant comes in response to a marital rape case filed by Oad's wife at the District Police Office in Kanchanpur.

SP Chakra Raj Joshi of Kanchanpur confirmed, "An arrest warrant has been issued, and further investigation is underway.
