Saptari– For the first time in Saptari district, Unique Hospital based in Rupani Rural Municipality is preparing to begin CT scan and intensive care unit (ICU) services.
Chairman of the hospital, Jaya Prakash Thakur, said that installation of the equipments was completed and shared that they would be brought into use soon. According to Thakur, ICU along with five ventilators and five CCUs have been installed.
Prior to this, the patients had to rush to as far as Biratnagar and Dharan to receive ICU and CT scan services from Saptari district.
Radiologist Ujjal Thakur said that CT scan machine would be useful for the diagnosis and treatment of brain hemorrhage, blood clot in nerves, problems of bone and some others.
