Rasuwa – Two people died while nine others were injured in a landslide that took place in the tunnel way of the Rasuwagadhi hydropower project on Saturday night.
Bhim Rokka,50, of Rukum and Ramesh Kaptaul,22, of Makwanpur died in the incident, according to police inspector at the border police post, Timure, Dilip Chettri. They were heading towards the tunnel on a tipper when the mishap took place.
Jagdish Rokka,25, and Tekman Budha,22, of Rukum and 42-year-old Chinese national Yctheyo were seriously injured. They have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment. Others underwent treatment at the medical camp of the Chinese contractor company, CWE, police said.
