Rajbiraj – Two persons died when a truck hit a motorbike from back at Sambhunath in Saptari district along the East-West Highway on Sunday evening.
The accident took place when the east-bound truck (Na 2 Kha 3001) from west knocked the motorbike (Ba 50 Pa 6000) coming from opposite direction.
Motorbike rider Arpan Tamang hailing from Mechinagar-6 of Jhapa died on the spot while pillion rider Alkesh Thapa, 38, of the same place breathed his last on the way to Gajendra Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, informed the District Police Office. ---
