Surunga, Jhapa – An Indian national working at a garage was killed in a road accident that occurred at Jhiljhile road section of the East-West highway in Shivasatakshi Municipality.
Police identified the victim as 19-year-old Mohamad Sahani of India who worked at the Samir Garage at Jhiljhile. Sahani was critically injured after a motorbike knocked him down. He was taken to the B&C Hospital after the accident but succumbed to his injuries, police said. The accident occurred on Monday.
Forty-year-old Senkuwa Rajbanshi of Barhadashi Rural Municipality-6 was killed after his bike overturned as he lost control over it. The accident took place on Monday night when Rajbanshi was riding towards home from Birtamod. He was taken to the B&C Hospital where he died.
A 10-year-old boy was killed in Damak in Jhapa district when a door at the Janajyoti Lower Secondary School fell down on him. He is Rijan Limbu of Chulachuli Rural Municipality-3, Ilam district. Limbu died instantaneously when the door fell in him while he was playing at the school premises.
