Dhankuta –A bomb disposal team of Nepal Army deactivated the improvised explosive device planted targeting the Office of Kanchanjangha Construction Company at Pakhribas, Dhankuta.
The team deployed from Brigade 2, Hile, defused the IED at 7:00 am today. The Office was established for the construction of Mid-hill highway at Pakhribas municipality-4.
The IED was kept in a Red Bull can and planted on Tuesday night. Police suspect that the Nepal Communist Party led by Biplav might have planted the bomb as the party had issued a press release warning of taking action against the company within 15 days, accusing the company of negligence in construction of Pakhribas-Leguwa road.
