Municipality establishes paragliding school

Udayapur - The Belka Municipality in Udayapur district has established a training centre and school to provide training on paragliding in Rampur Thoksila aiming to develop the municipality one of the best tourist destination in Province No. 1. 
Mayor of the Municipality Durga Kumar Thapa said works for the construction of the school building has been initiated with the investment of Rs 900,000. 

The municipality said that paragliding can be promoted on the bank of Saptakoshi river from the highlands of Ranitar Mainamaini of the municipality. The municipality also said that paragliding would be started in the area within three months. 
The trainers are being invited from Pokhara and National Sports Council. Prior to this, two test flights of the paragliding were already carried out. 
With the tourism promotion, the municipality has planned to bring in a large number of tourists in the municipality.
