Ncell tower torched

Nuwakot - The Ncell tower at Gerkhu of Bidur Municipality-11 in the district has been torched by unidentified persons last night. 
Unidentified people set the tower on fire sprinkling petrol and jute sacks around 12 last night at Dandagaon, Gerlhu, Chief of the Nuwakot District Police Office, Basanta Kunwar, said. 
The Ncell telephone connection via the tower are cut off following the incident. The call-connection equipment, battery, UPS and other devices installed with the tower have been damaged. 
According to the Ncell's district based technicians, equipment worth Rs 1.5 million has been damaged. Although the culprits are not known, police suspects the Communist Party of Nepal cadres of carrying out the attack.
