16 protesting against School Education Bill in front of Singha Durbar arrested

KATHMANDU, Sep 22: 16 members of ANNISU (Revolutionary), a student organization close to the CPN led by Mohan Baidhya Kiran, have been arrested.

Police arrested them when they started protesting in front of the Singha Durbar against the School Education Bill on Friday. Police arrested 16 people including the coordinator of ANNISU (Revolutionary) Milan Rai, who were protesting in solidarity with the teachers’ movement.

Police have taken them to Singha Durbar Circle.
