Three-month-campaign: “Maoist special transformation campaign with people” announced

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The Maoist Central Committee meeting that started Wednesday has concluded on Sunday, today. The five-day-long meeting concluded with the announcement of a three-month-long “Maoist Special Transformation Campaign with People” campaign.

The meeting has announced a 'special transformation campaign with the people' along with the leaders’ task division. In this campaign, all central members including the Prime Minister and the Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, will reach the wards and connect with the people.

Concluding the 5-day-long meeting, PM Dahal said that the meeting was a task of openly discussing various questions, confusions, suspicions and the gap between the leadership within the party, and also said that the meeting has been transformed into the highest platform of democracy.

Saying that they reached the conclusion that they will connect with the people as a Maoist special campaign with the people and reach 6,700 wards to run a campaign for three months, Maoist Chair Dahal also announced that he would go to each of the wards in all seven provinces.
