Maoist Center CC meeting: Province chairs demand special general convention
Kathmandu, January 5 — In the central committee meeting of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), provincial chairs have pressured the leadership to call for an immediate special general convention.
While presenting their reports at the meeting, the provincial chairs emphasized the need for an urgent special general convention, suggesting that issues within the party should be addressed through the convention rather than the central committee.
The first day of the meeting in the capital saw the completion of reports from seven geographical regions.
The report from the expatriate province is still ongoing, as shared by Lumbini Province chairman Sudarshan Baral.
Following the provincial reports, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is scheduled to present his political report.
