RSP forms taskforce on constitution amendment

Kathmandu, January 5 — The Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formed a "Constitution Amendment Suggestions Taskforce" under the leadership of Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar.

The taskforce was established during the party's ongoing second-day central committee meeting, as informed by Acting Spokesperson Manish Jha.

According to Jha, the taskforce will hold discussions in all seven provinces and engage with relevant stakeholders and constitutional experts to develop a public stance on constitutional amendments on behalf of the party.

The taskforce, led by Pariyar, includes members Krantishikha Dhital, Dr. Nandan Yadav, Ganesh Karki, Shobita Gautam, Asim Sah, Dr. Toshima Karki, Dr. Achyutam Lamichhane, and Megh Ale.

Jha further mentioned that the provincial party presidents will serve as the coordinators for the discussions in each respective province.
